i'm searching.

when we, and when i say we i mean me mom and tink, started looking at centerpieces we figured out we couldn't afford a florist so we decided to try to buy alll the flowers and let my mom do the arranging and decorating because she's so natrually good at it. ha. well when we started adding up how much it would be to buy all the vases and flowers we were looking at a pretty little penny. plus i wasn't really into the whole flowe thing anyways. so then we decided to just go ahead and buy something that was around thirty dollars that would look good in the center of the table well that crashed and burned when we couldn't find anything we liked. so then my mom ran into the florist at michael's and found out she runs her own wedding facility! woulda been nice to know from the beginning huh? well we went to her house for a meeting and she had these extravagant candelabras that would just take up the whole table so we were so relieved but then we i started lloking at her flowers i was like wow. im not really impressed with the quality of flowers she had i mean dont get me wrong she had almost every flower you could think of but it just wasn't my taste so then we started thinking what if we went and bought the flowers and she could design them!? when we got to hobby lobby i fell in love with these flowers;

but then of course we had to have another color and that's when we put this together:

no this green is a little more of a lime green than the ones i've got but it's pretty close to looking like this.

so now we've fired the florist and my mom is back to making the arrangements herself!
we've driven to all the hobby lobby's in the area and bought all the ones they had like this and we're still waiting for the last of them to come in. we had to special order them. hopfully they dont get placed on backorder and them not come in!

today we picked up all the essentials. flower girl baskets, rose petals, guest book and pen, cake plates napkins cups and forks to serve the cake, and flutes for the toast.

we've got eleven more days and we're rushing!
